Mostly Wordless Wednesday: Head in the Sand

Our two office pet frogs (that I have been permanently deemed "caretaker" for) are still alive and kicking.

You just never know what you're going to see when you look in the tank. One of them ("Tastes Like", "TL" for short) is friendly as heck. Many times I turn around to see him staring at me, watching what I do. It used to kinda creep me out, but I've grown numb to it. He will also follow your finger, if you place in on the side of the tank and move it around.

"Chicken", on the other hand, is not friendly at all. He's a recluse, anti-social......stuck up maybe?

I've provided many places for the frogs to hide in their tank. Greenery, terra cotta pots turned on their sides....etc.

But....he prefers the dish we put their food in. He spends 99.9% of his time under the dish, in fact.

Today, I look over, and this is what I see.......

Says it all, doesn't it? This week couldn't be any longer feeling! :-)

I am so ready for this week and weekend to be over. Anticipation of a dreadful time has already ruined it and I'm just ready for Monday to be here. Blah.
You know that button on the Heart of Gold? I feel like someone pushed that button here and I am so ready for "normality" to be restored.

Oh no! Not looking forward to the weekend either????

It seems I may have been cast in the role of "Tour Guide Barbie" and I'm not happy about that. I did not audition for that you know what I mean? And all evidence to the contrary I am not that outgoing of a person all the time and right now with my current level of back pain I'm not happy, spunky, cheerful or just plain nice.
Ok that is an exaggeration of near epic proportions but I am feeling quite put out and put upon.
Enough about me though.
Why aren't you looking forward to the weekend?
Oh and I just remembered that there is a thing called email but &^%$$ it. I already wrote all this here.

@ Slyde - they're hilarious! And pretty easy to take care of, when it comes to pets.
