On our way to New Mexico last week, we stopped in Garfield, KS for lunch.
At least, I think it was Garfield, KS.
We were headed for Dodge City, but Mot's growling tummy won out.
(good thing too, Dodge City was a complete bust....but I'll write about that later)
In the small town park where we stopped for our picnic lunch, was a (an?) historical marker of the Santa Fe Trail.
There was also an old bell. I walked over to see if the bell was from the old town hall?.....fire department?....school?....I hear a "whoop."
I turned around to this......
(I call this one "Put that d*mn thing away, would you?!"

I think it's more like
"Whoo-hoo!"
"I'm awesome!"
"All right, that's enough of that."
"Heh heh. Ohhhh."
"Okay, seriously, stop with the camera already."
@ mjenks - I'd say you hit the nail on the head...for sure!
I wish I'd gotten more shots before the first one. He was leaving forwards and backwards...having a grand time. The first picture I have is when the animal went back a little further than he expected.
The look on his face is "holy crap, I'm going to hit the ground...or break this thing...or both!!!" :-)
Awesome!
I probably would have done the same thing.
I love it-glad I am not the only one around still 7 at heart. GO MOT GO!!! YEE=HAW!!!
@ Badass - I was secretly jealous that he found that thing first...or it might have been me getting my picture taken on it! :-)
@ Amy - Yep...7 is about right. Sometimes 12, sometimes 4. :-)
I love those things-and the older the better. The new ones just don't have the sproinginess of the old one like these. Great camera action once again!
He flat out face planted on one once.....if I remember correctly. The new ones just aren't broken in enough.....darn those safety regulations! :-)
