You must grow like a tree, not like a mushroom.

Unless of course, your mushroom is like this one.........
Scott, an engineer here at work, found this while out mushroom hunting this weekend. :-)

There are no words big enough and polite enough to describe this monster of a mushroom. Well maybe that one. It looks like a morrel but I've never seen one that big. Okay-trying to get my mind out of the gutter. It's hard... Dammit. I'm gonna stop now.
Throughout the office, you could hear me, I'm sure...."Holy Crap Scott...that thing is HUUUGGGEEE!!!"
(hehe)
That's not a mushroom, it's a grizzly's used ear bud.
Mo - your imagination never ceases to amaze me!!! I love it!!! :-)
Sweet fancy moses!
Am drooling thinking of that sucker fried up in an egg wash.
It looks like seaweed! I'm suddenly not hungry anymore...
i LOVE mushrooms...but that mushroom made my arm hair stand up. ewwwwwwwwww. i'm totally grossed out. where the heck do you live that mushrooms grow like that? are you a cave dweller? ahhaha.
@ Gwen - everyone here is wondering if it will taste the same....or if they get nasty when they get that big. Hopefully he'll report back to us with the low-down. :-)
@ Vic - I overdosed on them when I was younger. All you can eat....ugh! I can't stand 'em anymore. :-)
@ CWG - yeah, the darn thing is kinda spooky really. And to see it in person made it worse.
I'm pretty sure he found it in Western Nebraska. We grow 'em big here. (hehe)
Yay! What a cool find! Monster Morel!
