Last weekend was a little hectic (and this past week wasn't much better)....so this post is a little late.
I was asked to take pictures at my uncle's wedding last Saturday (Sept 26th).
I won't tell you all about how nervous I was. About how I sat here at work on Friday and could think of nothing else. I mean, I'm not a professional photographer. Far, far, far from it. I won't tell you about the herd of buffalo in my gut when I woke up, or the shaking hands that made putting on makeup impossible. The dread of having to talk to people I don't know, and not being able to slink into the background.
No, I won't mention any of that. :-)
It was a small wedding, held outdoors. The weather was perfect, even though it was raining when I woke up.
We took a few minutes to decorate their side-car Harley.
The men all wore kilts. Groomsmen in green, groom in purple.
These are just a handful of the 1300 or so pictures I took during the day. :-) :-)

Those look great!
I love the picture of the rings in the flower. Very cool idea.
It was fun taking the pictures that day....but I really need more experience before I do that again. Need to win the lottery, so I can be an apprentice and learn!!!
Wait - probably need to play the lottery, before I win...eh?? :-)
Gosh I hate that buffalo-in-gut feeling. I experienced just that while I filmed a wedding ceremony. And when I say "filmed" I mean I was supposed to film the vows but only remembered halfway through the vows. In the murky depths of my gut the cries of buffalo could be heard.
@ mo - Halfway through, eh? Ugh!!!!
